Summer of design 2011

Summer of design is the extension of Summer of code sponsored by Google.

What?

Summer internship for design students working on open source software projects.

Design students will be working on the design aspects of the softwares.

Each project or project design feature will look for a design intern under a design mentor.

Designers participation in FLOS projects are less thanr than the proprietary products hence the usability of FLOS products is lesser compared to proprietary products. So designers! participate and contribute to FLOS movment.
