Summer of design 2011


Summer of design is the extension of Summer of code sponsored by Google.

What?
Summer internship for design students working on open source software projects.
Design students will be working on the design aspects of the softwares.
Each project or project design feature will look for a design intern under a design mentor.

Whys?
Design for open source softwares.
Improve the user experience of open source softwares.
Stipend
Contributing to commons( Essentials added to commons reduce monopoly )
Potential job at Google
